Beat the Heat with a Paddle
August is prime time to hit the Sugar River with Sugar River Outfitters. Choose a canoe or kayak for a relaxing 3 hour paddle from Verona to Paoli. Make sure to leave enough time to enjoy a beverage at the Hop Garden, some ice cream or a treat at one of the great spots on the river where you end your adventure in Paoli.

There is still a chance to catch some great outdoor music in August! Verona’s Music on Main Street has shows 8/4 and 8/18 and you’ll find live music every weekend at Wisconsin Brewing Co, the Hop Garden in Paoli and Bailey’s Run Winery in New Glarus.

The super popular Fairy Fair takes place at the market on 8/9 where you’ll find the regular market PLUS face-painting, crafts and more!
